Cumbria Safeguarding Adults Board works in partnership with organisations across Cumbria to help protect adults with care and support needs from abuse or neglect.

The Board leads adult safeguarding across Cumbria and works with organisations to ensure that they have effective safeguarding policies and procedures in place. It is important to work together in the best way possible to protect adults with care and support needs.

The Cumbria Safeguarding Adults Board members guide and handbook (PDF 1MB) provides an introduction to the Board, its responsibilities, and the expectations of individual Board Members.
